The construction of Glory Divine Academy started in mid-2010 and it was officially opened for admissions to students on the 9th September, 2014 by Mr. David Annan-Bonny, now Nana Dr. David Annan-Bonny. Based on his vision for the school he gave the motto, “The Torch Bearer” to the school. Meaning every child that graduate from the school shall be a fore runner of his family and society.
The first admissions were four (4) girls and three (3) boys on the 9th of September 2014 and by the end of the first term in 2014 the students’ population had increased to 24. These students were taught by 6 teachers. Made up of four (4) females and two (2) males in three class rooms and one classroom used as administration office.
The school was established based on the faith of Christianity, specifically Methodism faith. In spite of the religious background of the founder the school admits students from all religious sects. One could find Christians, Muslims and other children from various religious backgrounds. Glory Divine Academy runs the Ghana Education Service (GES) standard based curriculum and has well trained and motivated staff. The basic principles of the school are to instill discipline in the child from the early stage so that she or he may not depart from those principles.

Glory Divine Academy exist to promote excellent education and development to students through teaching, coaching and learning materials using highly qualified, dedicated and well-motivated human resource.
The school has ultra-modern computer laboratory that trains pupils on modern computing languages according the GES standard. It runs from Crèche to Junior High School. We have consistently recorded a 100% performance in the BECE exams. Our extra curricula activities aim at preparing the pupil towards their talents and aspirations, it therefore runs from Sports, Music, Dance, Cadet, among others. Environment exist to produce excellent students who make great impact in their families and society and socio-economic development of Ghana as a whole.
To achieve our mission and vision, students are periodically presented with national and international challenges, software problems and other related challenges in various fields to suggest best administrative, systematic and general solutions to them with the supervision of our able teachers. This makes them critical thinkers.
